                               RESOLUTION NO. 20804
                 
                 
                  A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR OF
                  THE GENERAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT TO ENTER INTO
                  A CONTRACT WITH BETTS ENGINEERING ASSOCIATES,
                  RELATIVE TO THE BESSIE SMITH HALL, FOR AN
                  AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED SEVEN THOUSAND, NINE
                  HUNDRED FORTY-TWO DOLLARS ($7,942.00).

       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Administrator of the General
       Services Department be and is hereby authorized to enter into a
       Contract with Betts Engineering Associates, relative to the 
Bessie
       Smith Hall, for an amount not to exceed $7,942.00.
